Purpose
The Government of Newfoundland and Labrador is seeking the views of residents of the Red Indian Lake area, members of the public, and interested organizations on the naming of Red Indian Lake in Central Newfoundland. Red Indian Lake borders three communities in Central Newfoundland: Buchans, Buchans Junction and Millertown.
Government and the Indigenous leadership of the Province are committed to advancing Reconciliation with Indigenous peoples and promoting inclusive communities.

Residents of the Red Indian Lake area, the public and interested organizations have an opportunity to take part in the engagement process by attending a public session or by submitting your views online. Thank you in advance for your participation.
